Welcome to the new Lion year, 2023 – 2024! We are eagerly anticipating a multitude of new activities aimed at serving our communities, fostering fresh collaborations, and enjoying delightful moments of fellowship with our club members and their families.
Our Lions International President, Dr. Patti Hill, has urged us to become the “Agents of Change” – catalysts for positive transformation. Let us embrace change to enhance our community service, develop exemplary leadership qualities, and uplift those in need, thereby making the world a better place. Imagine the profound impact we can create by fostering effective, lasting, and meaningful change. Envision broadening our reach by fostering inclusivity, extending a warm welcome, and displaying compassion. Picture ourselves engaging participants by offering them positive, enriching and enjoyable experience. Finally, let us contemplate how we can enhance our ability to adapt in their ever-evolving world through openness, flexibility, and creativity.
With the district theme for 2023- 2024, “Collaborative Leadership,” our aim is to leverage our imaginations and transform our dreams into tangible, positive change. As Henry Ford once said, “Coming together is the beginning, staying together is progress, and working together in success.” Your new Club President and Board are prepared to execute their plans, and throughout the year, we will host a multitude of exciting and interactive events to both engage and support you on your path to success.
